Well July 4th weekend we went camping in Wyoming to Henry's Fork with Jody's family it's his Dads birthday on the 4th and that is what he wanted for his birthday. Papa Jackson brought his horses so they went riding alot, Kayden couldn't get enough of them. He helped papa feed them, brush them, get them ready to ride, etc. Even when they weren't riding he would sit by the corral and just watch them, talk to them, feed them grass he loved them. It was alot of fun to get away and go camping with family, very relaxing. Papa brought his little saddle for the kids to ride in and so here is Kayden on it his legs are a little too short, maybe next year he will fit. Uncle Riley was nice enough to walk Kayden around on the horse.
Well first day back from camping, back at the day care I go pick Kayden up and the teacher tells me they are outside playing and Kayden goes over to the bush pulls his pants down and pees on the bush. Luckily she thought it was funny he didn't get into trouble, but now it is a little hard to tell him that he can only do that while we are camping but at the same time I am glad that he didn't pee his pants. A couple times since then he will do it out in the front yard I look over and there is Kayden with his pants around his ankles.
Well we have been having a pretty good summer so far, we have been trying to get ready for baby girl 7 more weeks we are getting really excited. We have been talking to Kayden lately about having a little sister, Jody was asking Kayden questions the other night like:
Well we have been having a pretty good summer so far, we have been trying to get ready for baby girl 7 more weeks we are getting really excited. We have been talking to Kayden lately about having a little sister, Jody was asking Kayden questions the other night like:
J: Is it ok if you share your room with your baby sister?
K: Umm, she can't sleep in my big bed, she sleeps in the little bed.
J: She won't sleep in your big bed
K: ok, thats ok
J: You will have to be nice to her too
K: ok dad
J: Will you share your toys with her?
K: yes dad
That night when I was tucking him in for bed he said to me, "I go to sleep, then wake up tomorrow and we will get that baby out of your tummy!" Silly boy he says that funniest things all the time. Getting him his big bed was the best thing that we ever did, before we got it most nights Kayden would end up in our bed. Best move ever!
